COOLER MASTER CM 690 II ADVANCED COMPUTER CASE REVIEW
After going over the features and specifications of the CM 690 II Advanced chassis prior to the review, I had high hopes for the case. I wasn't disappointed. Cooler Master has taken the 690 design to the next level in virtually all the important areas.
COOLER MASTER ELITE 310 ATV COMPUTER CASE REVIEW
It seems that Cooler Master has done what many budget chassis makers have been trying to do for some time now, to produce an inexpensive case that has the right stuff in the interior and some high style to boot. Their Elite 310 case will house your hardware, keep it fairly cool and look good doing it for the miserly sum of around $35-40 US.
NZXT GUARDIAN 921 CRAFTED SERIES MID-TOWER ATX COMPUTER CASE
With their redesigned Guardian 921 gaming case, NZXT has updated the look and features of the original Guardian while managing to keep its feel and tone. The “armored” look is still there and the updated visual elements are tastefully done, giving the case a fresh, new look while paying homage to the original. I found the illuminated temperature display and eSATA port refreshing and, while not strictly necessary in a gaming case, both features should prove useful.
ANTEC TWELVE HUNDRED ATX GAMING CASE
So, does the Twelve Hundred live up to all the hype? Is it, as Antec touts, the “Unbeatable Gaming Case?” If cooling and configuration options are the benchmarks we're looking at, it just may be. With six case fans included (five 120's and a massive 200mm top fan) and a distinctive look incorporating a chevron side window, uniform black finish inside and out and the mesh front, the Twelve Hundred brings a lot to the table in both performance and aesthetics.
THERMALTAKE XASER VI VG4000SNA COMPUTER CASE
With the Xaser VI, Thermaltake has an aluminum full-tower chassis that will rival the best in it's class. The innovative tool-free features are well executed and make working in this Xaser a real pleasure. Arguably the best feature is the sliding motherboard tray. Or maybe the hard drive mounting solution. What about the densely populated front panel I/O plate? Or the outstanding cooling design? There's a lot of stuff here to like, and I like the vast majority of it.
MGE XGBOX DRAGON ELITE ALUMINUM ATX GAMING CASE
I have to applaud XG for their Dragon chassis. It is always a gamble to market a product with styling as over-the-top as this. While I've seen other manufacturers wrap an outdated, mediocre chassis in some superficial bling to milk some more dollars out of it, MGE has used a new chassis design with nice features and aluminum construction to bring a quality product to the marketplace.
ASPIRE X-CRUISER BLUE GAMING COMPUTER CASE
Let's face it; the first thing you notice about a computer case is its appearance. The problem with evaluating a product's appearance is that appearance is very subjective. What one person may find attractive, another may not. So here's my impression of the X-Cruiser. Aesthetically, Aspire has done a great job with the X-Cruiser. While I'm not a big fan of cases with doors, I really like this case.
CASE4U MONA DESIGNER ATX MID-TOWER COMPUTER CASE
The Mona case from Case 4u is the lazy modder's dream: It requires no hard work to improve its appearance and can have lights and fans added without drilling or cutting to put in a window or fan opening. While the case requires nothing extra to make it look great, there is room for additions which makes the case a viable option for advanced modders as well.
